MAIN NARCOTICS and drug items:
Benzos: Xanax.
Opioids: Fentanyl, Heroin, and Oxycodone.
Psychedelics: MDMA, LSD, and Shrooms (Can Forage for Shrooms).
Stimulants: Cocaine, Crack, Crystal Meth, and Ritalin.
Baggies (Made from Grocery/Plastic Bags).

COCAINE RELATED ITEMS:
Coca Plant and Coca Leaves (Harvest to make Coca Paste).
Coca Paste (Find magazine to make into Cocaine).
Crack Cocaine (Find magazine to make with Cocaine and Baking Soda).
Crack Pipes for smoking Crack.
Lines of Coke on a Mirror.
Bricks of Cocaine.

METH RELATED ITEMS:
Crystal Meth Lab Kit.
Lines of Meth on a Mirror.
Crack Pipes for smoking Crystal Meth.

OPIOID RELATED ITEMS:
Opium Plants (Harvest to make Heroin).
Opium Magazine to learn Heroin recipes.
Brown and White Powder Heroin.

WEED RELATED ITEMS:
AK-47, Northern Lights, and Sour Diesel strains.
Cannabutter, Brownies, and Cookies (Find magazine to cook).
Bongs, Pipes, Blunts, Cannagars, Joints, and Spliffs.
Pounds of Weed.
Weed Seeds and Plants.
Harvest Weed and use on Drying Rack.
Use Dried Weed with Jar to Cure it, then Grind Cured Weed into Jars.
Put Kief that builds in Grinders into Jars.

GRADUAL EFFECTS:
Tooltips on Drugs give duration.
Benzos: -Panic and -Stress.
Opioids: -Muscle Strain, -Pain, +Fatigue, -Endurance, -Boredom, -Unhappiness, -Discomfort.
Psychedelics: +Thirst, -Fatigue, +Endurance, -Boredom, -Unhappiness.
Stimulants: -Muscle Strain, -Hunger, +Thirst, -Fatigue, +Endurance, -Boredom, -Unhappiness.
Weed: -Muscle Strain, +Hunger, +Thirst, +Fatigue, -Endurance, -Boredom, -Unhappiness.

HANGOVERS:
Stimulants: +Head Pain, +Fatigue, and -Endurance after after coming down.
Opioids and Psychedelics: +Fatigue and -Endurance after coming down.

OVERDOSING:
Your character will warn you when you are getting close.
Can overdose on all Drugs, EXCEPT LSD, Shrooms, and Weed.

NEW MOODLES with SCREEN EFFECTS:
Show when you are on Benzos, Cocaine, Meth, MDMA/LSD/Shrooms, Opioids, and Weed.
Also show if you Overdosed or are Hungover.

NEW TRAITS:
Will LOSE trait if drug is not done for 18-20 days. Can GAIN trait if drug is done too often over a few days. Your character will warn you.
Benzo Dependent: Withdrawals at 3 (Medium), 6 (Bad), 10 (Mild) days. If Benzo taken every 3 days, you can lose trait with no withdrawals.
Coke Head: Withdrawals at 1 (Medium), 5 (Bad), 10 (Mild) days. If Cocaine taken every 5 days, you can lose trait with no tier 2 withdrawals.
Meth Head: Withdrawals at 1 (Medium), 5 (Bad), 10 (Mild) days. If Meth taken every 5 days, you can lose trait with no tier 2 withdrawals.
MDMA Lover: Withdrawals at 3 (Medium), 6 (Bad), 10 (Mild) days. If MDMA taken every 5 days, you can lose trait with no tier 2 withdrawals.
Opioid Dependent: Withdrawals at 1 (Medium), 5 (Bad), 10 (Mild) days. If Opioid taken every 5 days, you can lose trait with no tier 2 withdrawals.
Paranoid User: Drugs give a panic attack for entire duration of effect. CAN'T lose trait.
Pot Head: No withdrawals, just -1 Fitness level. CAN lose trait.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Alcohol and Benzos/Opioids: While both drugs are active, +Drunkenness, +Fatigue, -Endurance.
Benzos and Opioids: While both drugs are active, +Fatigue and -Endurance.

F.A.Q
Where do I find these NARCOTICS?
The items have a low chance of spawning in lockers, hospitals, side tables, tents, bathrooms, dressers, random crates, in all areas of a car, and of course on Zombies.

Can I remove or add this mod to an existing save?
This mod is best applied at the start of a save. It can be applied in the middle of one, but only NEW containers and zombies you come across will have NARCOTICS.

@ize.bee. Do you remember all the ailments your character had so I can try to replicate it? I tried to myself with random ones and couldn't :steamsad:

Very interesting mod and well done, thank you for that! I'd really like the things it adds to be incredibly rare, but whatever I do with respect to the the sandbox options (every modifier in the NnC configuration page set to '1'), every house in '93 Kentucky has a serious, serious drug problem. :D

All the other loot rarities are set to 'Insanely Rare' and I also went to NnC_ProcDistributions.lua and decreased the modifier further (every rarity multiplied with 0.00001), but unfortunately no dice. Drugs still spawn everywhere, and a lot.

Is there anything else I can do to make the items your mod adds much, much rarer? Thank you again for all your hard work!

I love this mod! I've ran into this issue where if im in pain and smoke weed, the pain moodle keeps going away and then popping back up, like sort of blinking. Ive seen it happen to tiredness too with meth. i turned off hemp and tobacco and hgo expanded and it still happened so im not sure if its a conflict or not

Needs more visual effects but is great mod cant wait for b42 to come out so its on stable version

i can't use this mod its not showing up in either mod folders when i download the 2 mods required. i'd appreciate some help
