Research special treasure hunter units to go on local search parties. A low IC investment for those with smaller economies of scale.

Sometimes an artifact raid will give you generic loot which can be sold clicking the sell button. It sells the latest item. Treasure maps are also able to be sold but can also be used to improve your odds if you do a search the nation decision. There will be a decision to use it only if you have one in your inventory.
