RE2 - Lucidia Starter CV

Description
The Lucidia is designed as an easy to spawn starter CV with just enough upgradeability for you to get your spacefaring empire started. Design inspiration was taken from one of my favorite SV, the Merc MX5E by jrandall (link at the bottom)

-= UPGRADES =-

Built as a starter CV the Lucidia starts with basic amenities but can be upgraded to include a full medical bay, shields, warp drive, repair station and enough turbines to make it cap stable in low-power mode.
Upgrading is made easier by the multiple LCD panels detailing the position and installing instructions for individual upgrades. These LCD panels can be toggled off and on from the control panel.

-= PRODUCTION =-

Production capability is somewhat limited with a single constructor by default however one or two more can be added if you are willing to sacrifice some room in the internal hangar.

-= STORAGE =-

Storage includes a dedicated 320k storage container, 96K container for fuel, oxygen and Pentaxid and a secondary 96k container which can be converted to a harvest container if you plan on installing a drill turret. The ammunition controller is limited to 16k which is more than sufficient for the 12.6mm ammo your turrets use.
Storage is complemented by 9 labeled storage boxes to keep things orderly, I mean unless you enjoy chaos, then go for it!

-= HULL, DEFENCE & OFFENCE =-

The hull is mostly comprised of steel blocks, trim and blocks that do not connect to the interior are mostly carbon to reduce weight as much as possible. I made the choice to leave most of the hull as steel to reduce the risk of shield penetrating shots destroying something important.

The default loadout is a battery of four gatling turrets with substantially overlapping fields of fire. Drones beware!
The initial loadout of the Lucidia does not include shields but a dedicated spot for a compact shield generator and a single shield capacitor will net you approximately 14.5k of shields once installed. Just enough to get out of harm’s way or survive accidentally getting too close to a POI.

-= POWER =-

Starting with four standard generators the Lucidia will not redline, following the upgrade path will see you remove the four standard generators to install two improved generators netting you a comfortable 50kw of power. She will not redline even if you upgrade some of your thrusters to plasma.

As always, I hope she serves you well and I welcome your opinions, commentary and even soul scaring criticism.

Cheers,
Kahrek Laume.

This is a wonderful little ship, and you have done an EXCELLENT job with your explanations everywhere. Thank you very much!

@Rezin8 Glad you found ways to make this ship your own :) I took a look at your suggestions for the ramp and while I decided to leave the Lucidia as is I am working on a mining sister ship and she will incorporate your suggestion. Thanks again for taking the time to give feedback :)

Oh forgot to mention lol now can even fly around with shields on and weapons on fueless haha (so long as no sudden thruster movements)

Ive even managed to add on 2 standard plasma turbines in the underside of each wing with blockwork to make it look intentional rather than slapped on. The default fuel-less option had to have everything offline including weapons, shields, lights, gravity and various other things that were the intended upgrade path. and only just requiring a single basic cpu extender keeps it under cpu :)

@Crimsonsplat Glad you like the ship, the whole point was to make a fairly cheap but ready to go CV that was somewhat modular, happy to see it is working :)

Just what I was looking for: a cheap to build and run CV for when I want to move cargo to a new base, but don't want the expense of running my big CV.
