I found that when this mod is disabled for Ep2, only then I solve the issue of the rubble texture repeating in the sky by about 4x4 in front of the portal. It now looks normal without enabling.

I run on 2k (2560 * 1440) HDR monitor with 16:9 aspect ratio

Ahh, so these textures are already upscaled. I thought you found textures that were left in the original resolution. And with these ones you showed, I can't make them even better, they need to be retextured from scratch.

@Jerethi, Thanks for reporting the issue! Yes, I checked and it turned out that for some reason the workshop_dir.vpk file was zero size, apparently it was some kind of glitch in Steam Workshop. I re-uploaded the mod, now Episode 2 works fine again.
