Destiny 1 Beginner Ship




The Arcadia, as fellow Destiny enthusiasts may know, is the starter ship you get in like the first 15 minutes of playing Destiny 1. The ship is left to rust, hanging from chains, and has several Vandels guarding it.

While this ship is certainly not a 1:1 recreation, I did strive to incorporate much of the iconic design into its shape to give it that distinct feel.

Much like the jump ship in the game, the Arcadia is equipped with a jump drive (Prototech) to allow it to reach incredible distances fairly quickly within the Sol system. Modest armaments include a variety of fixed weapons such as a gatlin, autocannon, dual missile pods, and even assault cannon. Auxiliary flares are on the sides to for missile tracking interference when needed.

While atmo capable even on Pertam, fuel reserves are about what you would expect on a vessel of this size. Fortunately it has some containers and even an h2 gen to process more fuel for on the go refueling.

Unlike the original ships this is inspired by, this ship has an exposed cockpit to allow easy of flight even in tight areas while not destroying the overall aesthetics of the craft.

Articulating landing gear allows the ship to safely touchdown just about anywhere and bottom mounted connector lets it dock with ease to most platforms.
