This is an earlier version of the current Combine soldier, made by Valve and kindly released by Pelpix on the Facepunch forums. Includes shotgunner textures and stripped textures. The uploaded item includes the original shaders.

shouldn't they just be identical tho? shotgunners having different colored armor was introduced with the episodes i think

This doesn't work because the VPK includes the two optional VPK's from the Gamebanana upload instead of the actual files from either of them
