Answering a mysterious call from within The Mansion, Luigi, Mario, Toad, and Professor Elvin Gadd set out to stop King Boo's latest threat. But despite their confidence, they are unprepared for the nightmares that await them...




This isn't your regular zombie-shooter trope, there are unique systems at play here!

You must keep track of your health and cash to progress through The Mansion.

These cursed halls and rooms may hold health and money to help our heroes in their fight for survival. Don't hesitate to take advantage!

Your health won't regenerate naturally, you must progress through the round or find means to restore your life against the ghosts!

Ghosts will go through walls to try and reach you, this is where your handy-dandy GameBoy Horror comes into action!


Your GameBoy Horror's LED will change colour and alert sound to you depending on the following statuses:

When the light on top is Blue = No Ghosts are nearby.
When the light on top is Yellow = A Ghost is nearby.
When the light on top is Red = A Ghost is very close!


Luigi's Mansion has a unique wishing well system. Spend lucky coins found throughout the mansion by tossing them into the well... Will fortune favor you, or will you face an unexpected twist?


Check out King Boo's prized statue of his glorified self! Once you touch his statue, you'll be in for a real scare!


Stay on your guard, King Boo isn't playing around with the arsenal of apparitions up his sleeves! ...Do Boo's even have sleeves?

A hulking, towering apparition capable of consuming our heroes! This ghost is something Luigi never encountered on his first trip... You'll need concentrated firepower to bring this monstrous menace down a notch!


A product of the mansion's fear and despair, he's not sure who to fear or what to despair these days.


This mansion is full of tricks and surprises to thwart our crew's survival, including the spirits that inhabit its haunted halls!


A fast, mischievous ghost ready to scare the living SOUL out of Luigi! Stay quick on your feet, or it'll spook the daylights out of you!


Occasionally wearing a mask, they will chase after Luigi much faster than the common ghost. They can also manifest in other colours!


The hungry guard dog of these haunted halls. This creepy canine will sink its chops into any seemingly edible thing in sight!


There's so much more to uncover! Secrets, surprises, and gameplay features await! Will they lead to King Boo's demise, or your own? Hehehehe!~

Q: Its too dark, I can't see anything?
A: Press D-Pad UP to toggle your Flashlight! (Action Slot 1, Gobblegum Button)

Q: I don't like the GameBoy Horror making that beep sound, how can I disable it?
A: You can interact with the mirror at the foyer next to quick revive to toggle it on and off.

Q: Are the cheese/soul boxes required to progress the map?
A: They are completely optional! Only about 15-20 of them are required if you want to complete the main easter egg!

Q: I found all the shield parts, where do I build it?
A: You can find a table with some toolboxes on it in the Billiards room on the first floor, (Room with the Pool Table) or you can go to E.Gadd's Lab and build it there.

Q: I can't seem to play with any of my friend(s) on this map?
A: Make sure you and your friend(s) have the same version of this map by uninstalling and reinstalling the map!

Q: What is Hidden Mansion mode?
A: Hidden Mansion mode makes the map much more difficult, such as certain rewards being less rewarding, ghosts are much faster and spawn quicker, and The Mansion forever being in pitch black with only the lightning flashes and your flashlight to rely on!

Q: Can Hidden Mansion mode be turned off?
A: Once Hidden Mansion mode is enabled, it cannot be turned off unless you restart the map.

Q: Will the elemental weapons still appear in the mystery box?
A: Elemental weapons will NOT appear in the mystery box unless the weapon has been taken from E.Gadd's Lab.

Q: Why did you remove some weapons from the map?
A: Simple reason, too many players were using Ol' Reliable weapons instead of the new unique weapons.

Q: It won't let me interact with the red buttons on the walls?
A: The "Don't Press" buttons can only be interacted with once Round 10 has been reached.

Q: Is the plant in the Boneyard the only plant that can be watered with the water element weapon?
A: Any small plant inside The Mansion can be watered with the water elemental weapon for a small reward!
