FACTORUM faction pack

Politics
type: Nomads, Industrialists, Corporation
friends: none
neutrals: none
hostile: everyone else

This version of Factorum faction can be allied with by players, can sell prototech and can give missions. It contains most planetary encounters as civilian/military structures, contains Factorum space ships and uses them in the encounters.

PS: not all global encounters are implemented yet, that will come in the future update

WS Ship designs used in the pack on top of the vanilla ones:

Bannta, you can increase the space spawn timer in the Spawn Rules SpaceSpawnTimer or reduce the SpaceSpawnCount. Especially if you are playing only with this pack. The default values are more set for maps where there are multiple NPC factions. But if every spawn is a hostile spawn for you, I would definitely reduce the frequency. SpaceSpawnRadius is "how far from you it spawns in space" and SpaceSpawnPathDistance is "How close to you (your original position) will it get on it's travel". If you have any questions, hop on my discord, I have plenty of config examples there.

I've been playing this mod, and I was enjoying it while I was still on a planet surface; however, when in space, there is no rest. I like to figure out how to tone the space spawn timer down. If I set the NpcSpawnRules; SpaceSpawnTimer out, will that offset the Factorum spawns? Also, I would like to see if you're outside the territory of the NPC, we should technically see fewer to none military and more traders(with the chance to call for help). Also, it felt like they were coming straight at me when they spawned, instead of aggro at 4500k, which I assume is SpaceSpawnPathDistance = 4500. Or it's immediate aggro whenever they spawn? Regards,

depends, you can still raid Factorum trade ships and towns if you get to planets controlled by them (depends on your NPC Provider config)

so if i prefer stealing the prototech parts rather than buy them, then i should not get thisone?

CDClone: it uses the vanilla factorum faction and gives it ship types, building types etc. so it can work with the NPC Provider. It does not cover the vanilla factorum encounters tho. The prototech is available through the NPC Provider economy.

do these replace the original factorium faction, or just add new one?

planetary encounters do not have any additional loot compared to the rest of the NPC factions. The only difference is with the trading encounters (some stations, ships etc) as Factorum is selling the prototech components

I'm not seeing anything loot in the planetary encounters, anything that, off the top of your head, might be causing it...or is it not implemented yet?
