Otherwise, unless you are running an ARM based Mac, 99% of the time this issue is simply the files not being put in the correct folders.
Also note that there are mods here on the Steam Workshop that have the user overwrite the game's files with their files. Those types of mods are unlikely to work with other mods.

The root folder defined as the folder which contains ST Earth.exe
Downlowaded Bepinex setup and extracted all of the zip in the shortest...root directory, not sure about those instructions of putting all files of the new folder in the root (because when you unzip, all the files go to the root directory so the folder is empty)
Started the game but no plugin directory in the new folder...not sure if im doing somethnig wrong xDDD
