SCM Rotblood Tribe - 6.3

Description
Clan Fester
Today, the Pactsworn are complete, for today Skarrik Spinemanglr and Clan Fester spill forth from the Skittergate and take Ubersreik! From there they shall swarm in devastating hordes ever closer to Altdorf, until the End Times are upon the Empire of Man! Clan Fester's campaign mechanics include summoning Rotblood allied armies, utilizing the Skittergate, brewing diseases in the Pestilent Cauldron, and hunting down 10+ landmarks across the Empire and further afield. Clan Fester also has access to the full Pestilent Brotherhood army and building structure.

Clan Fester is in Skaven Clans

Rotblood Tribe
Welcome to the Rotblood Tribe, brand new for Warhammer III! Worshippers of Nurgle, Warriors of Norsca, and resilient to the extreme, this adds a brand new faction of new lords, heroes, units, buildings, campaign mechanics complete with custom art, weaponry, and abilities. Toxic in the extreme, the Rotblood Tribe's bile corrodes any foolish enough to engage them in melee combat, ravaging their bodies and torturing their minds. Bödvarr Ribspreader and his warriors will stop at nothing as they sweep south, carrying bilious disease from Norsca into the very heart of the Empire.

This all came about because back in May, Dead handed me (Strat) four unit models and said I could do with them as I wished. He expected a small unit pack release for Nurgle. What he's getting is 40 characters, units, and Regiments of Renown as a standalone faction.

Rotblood Tribe Factions IE

Rotblood Tribe - Outside the gates of the Serpent Jetty, Bödvarr Ribspreader begins his campaign to spread the great plague of Nurgle across all the lands of men, while further south, his Skaven allies huddle in Karak Azgaraz, weakened by an unholy pox and awaiting support from their Norscan litter-mates.

What's Included

The Bilious Army - 2 Legendary Lords, 3 generic lords, 3 generic characters, 21 units, 10 Regiments of Renown. Plus a few bonus units, if you can find them hidden about the map.
Abhorrent Architecture - Completely new building tree, complete with 10 landmarks. Two are in the Monolith of Katam, the other seven are hidden about the map.
Custom Mechanics -
  • Skittergate - Yes, the famous Skittergate from OvN's Rotbloods returns, courtesy of Prop Joe and the OvN team
  • Bubonic Cauldron - The plagues of the Crowfather are here to despoil the enemies of the Rotbloods.
  • Armies of Clan Fester - Spend warpstone to purchase armies from the Skaven.
  • Monster Hunts - As Norscans, the Rotblood Tribe still takes time to slay the great beasts of the north. They also have access to Norscan confederation.
  • Ally of Fester - Start with a military ally close to the Empire, ensure their support and survival by gifting them cities in return for rewards.

Credits
Stratovarious for most of the database work
Rhox made the Bubonic Cauldron, Armies of Clan Fester, Monster Hunt, and many other campaign features. A huge lifesaver on the campaign side.
Dead did exquisite work on Bodvarr, Marauders, Maulers, Savages, and Bile Trolls. His work is best seen in the various Rotblood infantry units.
X-T did tons of weapons, along with horse mounts, many custom heads, some torsos, and variants of Dead's art. Take a look at the Engorged to see a unit where this all comes together.
OrangeJulivs delivered a stunning take on Burblespue Halescourge, Greater Blightstormer, and the Greater Lifeleech.
Prop Joe added the Skittergate mechanic, which is glorious to see returning.
As always, Khamar went above and beyond with unit cards.
All is Dust for Blightreaper unique item and associated quest
HKrul, Wolfremio, and OvN for inspiration, artwork, and all around support with bringing this to life.
A special nod to Mixu for Mixer and the custom faction.
And Skelly made everyone else look good.

A huge thank you to all of them, without whom this project wouldn't have succeeded!

@Kilaeden because strato went MIA for multiple months so this one was made for that time, better to have a backup anyway in case it happens again

Strato updated his mod too. Why do we have two Rotblood Tribe mods? One of them should be deleted at this point.

I'm currently using the other version of this mod but the comment section is disabled there so I'm gonna report a bug I found here. It would seem that the regiment of renowns are not getting buffed by the red skills in the second part of the red skill section of the skill tree. For example, the RoR melee infantry isn't getting the spell resistance or bonus vs large that standard units are getting despite appearing amongst the affected units when looking at the skill description.

@AwDiddums

Thanks for finding the conflict

Wait why are there two versions of this mod? Which one am I supposed to use, the original Stratovarious one?

Whenever this faction occupies a settlement it's invisible. There's no location skin. This is likely a conflict with 'Legendary Urbania' which changes the location to match the default faction culture. Just an FYI.
