Previously Owned Economy Ships

Description
Stan's Previously Owned Economy Ships

A compilation of classical well-used manufactured vessels being resold under the umbrella of Builder faction Economy trade stations. They are added alongside the usual Keen ships for sale. The advantage of this trading mod is to eliminate the strain of building complicated or large vessels, subgrids or scripts. Also to expand on challenging survival gameplay.

They all have Vanilla blocks. Some of them have DLC blocks but Stan will sell the DLC to you through the store anyway. It is highly recommended that Scripting and Supergridding options are enabled otherwise full functionality of ships would be lost.

All inventories are pre-cleared to contain reasonable starting amounts, as some ships came with contents that are far more valuable than the price of the ship. Interesting grid features are specified in store listings, such as PMW (Player Made Weapon) turrets, missiles and clang drives or piston guns.

Only the Builder type faction is modified. All others are left alone. This mod should be higher in the order than other mods that modify Economy stations. Adding this to an existing world requires a few trade cycles before the stores trades are updated fully.

Stan is diligently making deals to acquire new lines of secondhand craft from various manufacturers. Please check back later.

Cant afford to purchase ships? Look into activating MES Trade Operators Coalition (salvage ship selling!) or Crunch Economy v3[github.com] (more contracts!) for increased space credit opportunities!

More manufacturers are coming. It takes a long time for trade negotiations to be processed, ship seats wiped down, blood mopped up and so forth - before grids are suitable for resale. Negotiations are underway with ISL, PFS and AAS.

aaaah ok, my mistake

so....any stations that spawn are...Vanilla?

Apologies - I started a new world after Apex hard borked my save. MES is working but this is the first station that has spawned (as in the first I've seen in years) and its selling ships, so I assumed it was this mod. It sells a bunch of ships from the workshop (hooray this mod!) some tools and the odd food (Apex survival is enabled).

I guess I should be asking on MES. Sorry.
Cool mod though, really neat to see ships I actually want in the store
Stubkan  [author] 20 Sep @ 9:00pm
This mod doesnt change station functionality, it only adds more grids for sale to the pre-existing stations that sell grids.
TheVillain 20 Sep @ 8:52am
So a station that sells ships has been added near me -(SSMK faction) which is cool - buts its not 'despawning'
Dont get me wrong, awesome to see ships in the store but if another one shows up i'm not going to get anymore MES stuff I think?

Are the stations supposed to be 'permenant' or are they meant to be like trade ships that move on like usual MES stuff
ArchyZavr 14 Sep @ 4:23pm
Works. Thank you very much!
Stubkan  [author] 13 Sep @ 11:58am
@ArchyZavr - should be updated now. I'll do some testing, but remember if you have this mod added to an existing game, it will take several cycles for the economy to cycle the old sales out before adding the new ships in.

I wasn't aware of this; I'll reinstall SE shortly and try to fix it, thank you for the notification.
ArchyZavr 10 Sep @ 10:35pm
Thx for mod.

After update 1.207, food is not available for sale due to this mod.
Planning to upgrade?

One of the coolest mods for NPCs that I've seen in the game really prolongs interest in the game for hundreds of hours.
Cigarette 9 May @ 2:20pm
Yeah its somthing i've noticed, last cycle all icons was there, this cycle it wasn't
Stubkan  [author] 9 May @ 12:12pm
Yeah, adding this mid-game would require a few economy cycles for the listings to be fully integrated.
