After Peaker Initiative (PI) was bought out by Jackson's Toy (JT) in year 2002. Several Peaker top designer has resigned from the company to formed new company known as "Advanced Test Research Institute (ATRI)" that developed advanced weaponry technology for several interstellar nation (mostly Hamanisowa). Their first product, the CTL-20 "Combination Testing Line-20" is a pump-action shotgun rifle-hybrid that can either fire in standard rifle round or shotgun round.

CTL-20 was meant to design for civilian use such as law enforcement and farmer who invade by thief after get snipe hundred of time. The weapon became popular among CQC user and Defensive tactic in warfare.

Based on Crossfire mk.1 pump-action shotgun-rifle. The Pumping is shorter than real counterpart due to uncomfortable in animation which also happen to real world.
