Description


This Win Condition pack brings improved vanilla game modes to the Eichenlaub Tuning Pack. They are required to play the main mod and will not work standalone.



KEY FEATURES
  • NEW COMMANDER UI
    Eichenlaub leverages an all-in-one Commander UI framework designed by Janne252 to bring dozens of new and improved commanders to the game, independent of your inventory pick in the multi-player lobby. This Win Condition pack contains the necessary code and user interface elements.

  • LATE WAR ERA SETTINGS
    All win conditions come in [44] and [45] variants, indicating the 1944 and 1945 modes for the Eichenlaub tuning pack respectively. This will unlock or limit year-appropriate units ingame, such as Jagdtigers and Pershing heavy tanks. The modes will also determine pre-applied skins on many vehicles ingame.

  • IMMERSIVE UI
    All Eichenlaub win conditions come with an immersive UI overhaul to reduce visual clutter. Sector borders and unit selection markers are removed, alongside the game timer. The HUD event log is cleaned up.

  • UI+
    Per popular demand, for a less minimal UI, choose the [UI+] variant of any win conditions. Sector borders, critical event logs and the timer are restored.

  • CAMERA
    The camera can be zoomed out further.



VICTORY POINT
  • VP SETTINGS
    A new 750 VP Option is added and highly recommended for optimal game duration. All VP settings come in three variants for different Pop-cap settings.

  • POPCAP OPTIONS
    Victory Point Mode comes in three variants for Pop-Cap: 75, 100, and 125. Popcap 125 is the default recommendation on medium to large size maps. AI players have their own logic for popcap.

  • PvE CHALLENGE
    The AI is modified to make sure they stay in the fight for as long as you do. Expert AI will have a chance to launch an all-out final assault if they fear defeat. Powerful frontline artillery and fresh elite reserves will test your control of the game.



CONQUEST
  • WIN BY CONTROL
    Conquest simply changes the annihiliation mechanic to territory control. Win by conquering all sectors on the map, instead of slowly destroying the enemy's base buildings.

  • PvE CHALLENGE
    When playing Conquest against AI, they have a chance to choose defensive divisions and fortify strategic sectors under their control. Prepare to dismantle lines of bunkers and mine fields as you proceed across the map, but beware of counter-attacks.



FRONTLINES
  • A COMMUNITY FAVORITE
    Frontlines is a spin on the popular Conquest by Wikinger win condition. Every sector counts, the team with better map control will bleed the enemy's tickets. Aggressive play is rewarded.

  • IMPROVED SCORE UI
    Subtle sector UI and an objective tracker always keep players updated on who's in control of the game.



REQUIREMENTS
  • This Win Condition pack is part of the Eichenlaub Mod and requires all its dependencies to work. Due to code interdependence, these win conditions do not function standalone for vanilla or other tuning packs.

  • Please make sure that you have subscribed to all required items. You may visit the Eichenlaub Steam Collection for easy subscription.



CREDITS
The Conquest Win Condition is partially based on scar code from the now deleted "Conquest Mod" that used to be on the Steam Workshop. All credit for the respective code goes to the original author. Unfortunately I was not able to identify the creator of the mod. Please contact me for proper attribution.

Hi @MINMO, technically possible but it is rather bad for balance. I will consider adding it, but I need to keep the win condition settings concise, so probably just as an option for Conquest mode.

Do you think you could add a step above 125 for popcap? 200 maybe? My friend is making me ask :)

Hi Arkhan, 1. I assume you mean a PvE defense mode for the Red Army. Early war is unfortunately out of question for now, but I have plans for a Lake Balaton Offensive-themed Bridgehead expansion. No ETA yet.

2. CoH3 does not support real modding, and for that and many other issues, Eichenlaub will remain a CoH 2 exclusive.

3. A discord needs an active community. The main mod page has discussion threads for Suggestions and questions.

@Dar_No2 do you plan to add red army soon? like an early war or late war scenario, also do you plan to add eichenlaub to coh3? also when next update. Also regarding discord why not make it an announcement only discord along with suggestions , questions etc but leave the chat?

Hi mankol, interesting observation, I never noticed that. I didn’t change anything with the grenade mechanics aside from throwing them out of buildings, so it’s probably an engine issue. I will investigate.

there is a bug with the grenade ability on bridges with some German units when the grenade don't throw at the spot instead it drop right next too the unit that is use it.( it seen to only bridges win that German unit on bridge)

So whats the difference between Lockdown Fentsung aganist regular Fentsung
