The Underhell House

A port of the chapter one version of the house from Mxthe's mod Underhell.

The house has been updated for the Black Mesa engine, with improved lighting and shadowing. I have endeavoured to keep it as faithful to the original as possible, however small modifications were needed to let it work in the engine. Additionally, none of the scares, audio tapes or scripted events were ported, this is just an explore-able version of the house and sewers with all the locked doors opened by default. Lighting and godrays have also been added/removed to improve the visual feel of the map.

Please note, this is quite a performance heavy map, it isn't advised to run it on a potato if you have high settings enabled. The map can be accessed from the workshop menu. If you need to load it from the console the map name is bm_uhhouse

The VMF for the map is provided, however please note you will need to extract the textures and models from the addon to the Black Mesa directory for it to be usable. You may find the VMF at <STEAM FOLDER>\SteamApps\workshop\content\362890\3260394454

If you wish to use the VMF, use a tool like GCFscape to extract them to <STEAM FOLDER>\SteamApps\common\Black Mesa\bms
