Remake of most story-rich modification for Men of War: Assault Squad 2.



The mod narrates the failure of Operation Overlord. The player follows the story from the perspective of Jason Baker of the 101st Airborne Division and his small surviving squad deep behind enemy lines, without any communication with command, food, or water. A key difference from the original story, the plot of the remake will cover the period of multiple months leading up to the Allies' renewed invasion, during which Baker will attempt to find other survivors and establish contact with local partisans. Moreover, the remake will introduce new key characters, such as British SAS.

• The mod contains a full-fledged story campaign, very high quality, and cinematic missions. All characters and their dialogues are fully voiced at a studio quality level.
  
• A particular emphasis is placed on the gameplay aspect of the missions, namely their diversity and variability. You will not encounter two missions with similar gameplay ideas.
  
• Lost Eagles for MoW 2 is not a standard port from Assault Squad 2. The project was built from scratch, considering all the mistakes of the previous work and focuses on original’s most strength: the missions gameplay and story.
  
• The mod will be released in episodes, which take place during different times of a year. The release version will feature the first episode titled "Day One," which includes 5 missions totaling 4 hours of gameplay. Three of these missions will occur during Baker's combat sorties, while the remaining two will be missions in a shelter where the paratroopers have taken refuge.
  
• Supports both singleplayer and cooperative gameplay.

The "Play" button is locked on mission screen
Open any American mission (for example, Historical -> Overlord -> Landing) where you can see the "Play" button and return back to mod's mission. Battalions are currently not supported in mods.

Mission is shown as completed but the outro text says it's failed
Mission failing is currently not supported in mods :D. You can reload your last save by pressing "Esc" and click on "Load".

Endless "local server requested" message
Open task manager, switch to details tab and end task called "mow2_cli_local.exe". Unfortunately, another bug in modding support.

HUD is missing after loading last save
Press "Shift+F11". Unfortunately, another bug in modding support.

Loading savegame is stuck (e.g 43%)
Please restart the game. Unfortunately, another bug in modding support.

Mission in COOP does not launch
