Asteroid Filter: Clusters

Omschrijving
Reduces asteroid density to create randomized pockets of asteroids and empty voids surrounding them. Give some variety to your world by trimming the infinite asteroid field! The overall asteroid density and cluster/void sizes are customizable.

Part of the Asteroid Filter API toolset which allows you to customize where and when you will encounter procedural asteroids in the world. Mix and match different filters or make your own to create the ideal exploration experience!

Config Setup
This mod can be customized by making use of the Config.xml file that generates once the mod is loaded. Loading a file with this mod active creates a Config.xml file inside of the save folder (...\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves\<SteamId>\<SaveGameName>\Storage\3220848664.sbm_AsteroidFilterCluster). You can edit the values in this file to change those values in game after loading back into the save.

Setup Steps:
1. Subscribe to the mod
2. Add mod to world
3. Load into world once to generate the Config.xml file
4. Exit world
5. Make changes to the Config.xml file at above location
6. Load back into world to see changes

Hi! is there a command to spawn a cluster near player location?

After loading this mod it is culling all asteroids. I do not see clusters, I see nothing. I have the settings at a size of 5 and a density of 30%, but I never find any asteroids.

Do this work correctly with Real Solar Systems? Is there any specific order I should load the MODs. I´m getting the normal spawn of asteroids. I've configured Real Solar Systems to HAVE asteroids in Proxy Space and NO asteroids in all planets, star and gas giant.

Yes, this mod dynamically grabs the asteroids as they attempt to spawn in and removes them if necessary.

In general, though, you can remove or change the procedural asteroid density for any save by finding the Sandbox.sbc file for the world and changing the <ProceduralDensity> value. Setting it to 0 will remove them completely.

will this adjust the asteroids already on a pre-generated world? Im using the When Worlds Collide world, and i cant remove asteroid gen in the presetup (or add mods) because its a community content, though i CAN add mods once the world has been loaded and saved.

But while i can add mods once the worlds been made, i cant then remove the constant asteroids.

so, to reiterate, will this remove asteroids that already have been spawned, and then generate asteroids in the clusters?

are trading station affected by the cleaning? i started using the mod but havent seen one in a while

@Desert Ice This doesn't affect ores, and no you just need to run into them. You may want to try lowering the <Scale> value or increasing your view distance if you have trouble finding them.

@Space Ace Yes, if the ores are set to spawn in asteroids.
