Overview
This mod allows you to follow citizens and vehicles in first-person view (or POV), providing an enhanced free-camera mode.
This is an updated version of First Person Camera v2.2.0 by Asu.
What's new:
  • Mod will no longer follow targets outside the city border in Walk-Through mode by default, can be changed in "Camera Options > Walk-Through Mode Options > Targets outside the border"
  • Add support for hotkeys to vanilla free and cinematic camera: now you can switch between these two modes within FPC
  • Various bug fixes and minor feature updates, please refer to Change Notes for more information.

For users having camera stuck to the underground issue
From v3.1.3 on, there will be a very self-evident notification to help you fix the issue by clicking "Quick Fix" when the game is loaded.
If you don't have the notification but have this issue, just reset your settings.

⚠️IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR COMMENTING⚠️
  • Make sure you've read the FAQ and Known Issues.
  • All error or bug reports MUST include a link to your output log!
    Check the FAQ for how to share them.
    So that we can see what is actually going on for you, then we can fix your issues.
    Without a log file, all we can do is make random guesses and that wastes everyone's time!

@Smokey
Would you please check my comment from early August? And I might add that ACME has an FPS mode that might meet your needs. Hope it helps!

I still have the issue where entering first-person mode de-selects anything I selected with move it or procedural objects. This was not the case on older versions of the mod, and for me is very inconvenient. I would really appreciate if the mod maker could look into this issue! Thanks

@CreatorOfWorlds
Could you confirm at your convenience whether the issue is restricted to two mods?

1.Create a new modlist in Skyve
2.Enable only FPC, Toggle It, and Unlock All
3.Start a new city and draw a district
4.Engage free-camera mode then exit

Please let me know if the issue occurs again. Many thanks!
(It seems you might have missed my previous DM, so I’m forwarding it here for your reference.)

When i started the savegame the game gave me the 'update' info box for the mod. So fairly surden that it's the newest version.

@Will
I'm not seeing district names coming out of FP view :-)
Still seeing the district names coming out of the cinematic camera. Maybe that is an effect from ACME or native, I don't know.

Fixed, please check

If you are using Toggle It, try toggling the "District Names" setting and any other district-related settings twice. Then, reenable the hide ui setting and check if the issue is resolved.
If this doesn't help, please follow the "IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR COMMENTING". Many thanks!
