We did this before the MAT-49 (which won the poll) because there were too many requests for it.

VARIANTS:

-M14->No scope, loads with clips for the first 10 rounds
-XM21->Scoped, only loads with magazines.

STATS:

-Damage->60 (2 shots in medium range)
-Loaded ammo->20+1 bullets

CREDITS:

I can't control what night vision does, since it's a filter in game. The color from the scope is theoretically the same as the other CWC scopes so idk what would be different here

I have to be honest with you is that this weapon is the definition of SOLID because boy this gun is pretty versatile but one minor complaint i have for this mod is the XM21 variant because it happens to be one of those Scoped Weapons where the scope of the thing becomes way too bright to scope with Nightvision turned on

The XM21 reticle is too thick, making it difficult to shoot at long range.

I did not know that was the case. I imagine it was quite a logistical challenge to manage. In any case, props for the historical accuracy!

The M14s for the time period we intended (Vietnam, basically) didn't have enough magazines issued to be able to only reload with them, which is why we made them load with stripper clips

Would it be feasible to make a variant of the unscoped M14 that loads only with magazines? Just some food for thought - aside from how slow the normal M14 loads this is my favorite M14 mod on the workshop.
