MHC Atlas LHS - Logistical Support Truck - Falkner-Muir

The MHC Atlas is the mainstay logistics vehicle provided by Falkner-Muir. Abbreviated as Modular Heavy Chassis, the Atlas provides several capabiltiies to support an armed force during conflict, disaster response and approaching logistics. The LHS (Load Handling System) variant of the Atlas provides the vehicle with a container handling unit to allow for easy transportation of ISO standardized containers. The design of the MHC Atlas emphasizes repairability within the field, all microcontrollers are located just behind the cabin wall, and important engine components (transmission, main engine unit) are accessible at the rear of the cabin.





TRUCK:

• Press "ENGINE ENABLE"
  
• Press "RELEASE PARKING BRAKE"
  
• Use your arrow keys as a gear selector. Ranges from: Reverse | Neutral | High Gear | Low Gear [Crawl]

CONTAINER HANDLER:

• Make sure the engine is idling via pressing "ENGINE ENABLE"
  
• Press "MONITOR ENABLE" and look at the monitor
  
• Press "UTIL"
  
• Press "ARM"
  
• Park in front of a container, when ready, turn on "DEPLOY"
  
• When the container has been grabbed, turn off "DEPLOY"
  
• Optionally, turn on "OVR" and use the arrows displayed to manually control the handler

Q: The truck won't move.
A: Make sure the parking brake has been released, and you are in gear.

Q: Why is the truck so slow?
A: Make sure you aren't in low gear (crawl), as dictated by the gear indicator on the dashboard.

Q: The container handler won't move.
A: Make sure you have pressed "ARM". Additionally, make sure your engine is running.
