Introducing the all new SD40-2 mod expansion pack:
SD40T-2 Locomotive!

Howdy fellers, today I bring you a standalone DLC to my recently released SD40-2 Pack! A Tunnel Motor! This locomotive and the SD45T-2 are popularly called tunnel motors by railfans, but EMD's term is SD40-2 with "cooling system modifications" because they were designed for better engine cooling in mountainous areas. The difference between this locomotive and its non-tunnel motor cousin, the regular SD40-2, are the radiator air intakes are located lower down at the rear of the locomotive, giving it a longer and more unique appearance.

Modularity!
Like the SD40-2 it is based upon, I have aimed to make this mod super edit friendly, all parts come apart like Lego in blender, and it is all universally UV'd. Resources and help are available in my discord.

Lights Guide:
L = Headlight
Shift + L = Cab Light
L + 1 = Rear Light
L + 3 = Numberboards
L + 4 = Footlights
L + 5 = GYRO
L + 6 = Classlights

do you think you can make the emd f69phac? they were experimental locomotives for Amtrak. (they only wore phase 3)

Hey! I will say that I love your work and you shouldnt stop at all! I will say, your GP30 is a bit outdated, any chance you can revamp it? I know its a tall ask, I just think it needs a revamp and the texture is kinda off.

We already had the SD45T-2 in the workshop, but the younger sister was missing, now we have the great SD40T-2. Let the tunnel motors party begin!
Now we need the precursors to these two models, the elephant ears, GP40X and SD45X from the Southern Pacific.
Excellent work to all those involved!!! A luxury of incredible details!!! :steamthumbsup:
