Voicepack Selector

Descripción
If you run into any bugs or have any issues with the mod, please contact me in the Discord. There is a channel in mod-feedback for the Voicepack Selector. I check discord often, I check here a lot less.

This mod rotates allows you to select a specific voicepack for each ship in the fleet editor. This change is persistent so long as you save the fleet file. The new files created by this mod are non-destructive, and can be loaded by just the vanilla game without issue.

The idea behind this mod is mostly to encourage the creation of voicepacks because I think they're fun. Currently the way the voice system works is whenever a game starts, each ship randomly chooses a voice from the available pool. In vanilla there are seven choices, so if you were to add a voicepack mod you would only have a 1/8 chance per ship of getting that voicepack. I do love the random nature, so I'm not replacing it, merely allowing the player to choose between random and specific on a ship-by-ship basis.

Currently I know of six publicly released voicepacks:
- The Highfleet pack by Tuna here
- The Spess Mahreen voicepack by me here
- The Dracula Flow pack by M1 Abrams here
- The Bob voice pack by bob here
- The Ship Line(s) Reimagined pack by Bob752 here
- The Yukari voice pack by maosan here (also contains an announcer voice)

The mod also allows you to change the voice of your Announcer (the one who says 'the enemy has secured zone Boxer'). The setting for this is persistent as long as the choice is saved. Your choices can be found under Settings>Audio.

Currently I know of four publicly released announcer packs:
- The Sir David Attenborough Announcer by me here
- The Radio Broadcast Announcer, also by me here
- The C.A.S.S.I.E. Announcer by Tuna here
- The Yukari voice pack by maosan here (also contains a ship voice)

For players:
- This mod is plug-and-play. It has no dependancies. It is completely client-side and does not require others in the lobby to download it.
- When in the fleet editor, clicking on the ship identity button (top right of the left panel) will give you an extra dropdown menu that contains all voicepacks loaded into the game and defaulting to the normal behaviour of randomly selecting one.
- Choices confirmed through this menu will be persistent until you leave the fleet editor. If you want to bring the changes into a game, you'll have to save the fleet just like any other change.
- No extra files are generated, and fleet files built with this mod are completely compatible with the base game. They should also be compatible with other mods, though this has not been extensively tested.
- If you remove a voicepack mod and load a .fleet file with that voicepack in it, Voicepack Selector will treat it as if it had no voicepack data at all and default to "Random."

For those interested in making voicepacks:
- There is a guide here by Tuna
- As Tuna says if you have any questions feel free to ask in the Discord.
- You do not need to do anything special to have your voicepack be used by this mod. If it loads into the game, whether before or after this mod, Voicepack Selector will add it to the list automatically.
- Making Announcers is a little different, but not by much. You only need about 60 lines. I made a guide for it here.

Mod currently in maintenance mode. Thank you for understanding.

Borrows a few code snippets from various mods by someusername6, without which this would have taken a good bit longer. Built using the code-only modding framework from Alexbay218.

If you run into any bugs or have any questions I can be found on the Discord. I'll be setting up a feedback thread in #mod-feedback as well.

Hi, i have a small problem with this mod, despite picking the Highfleet voice pack and saving it as a new fleet, when i load into a game it still treats it as random, meaning i get random voice lines instead of the selected one. Am I doing something wrong?
