Simple script that i was using is some of my mods. People were asking to make it as a standalone thing, so here it is.
Must be installed on both client and server.

Working with blood in Arma is hard, due to how engine handles particles and materials. So dont expect anything crazy here. If you want more advanced version for singleplayer experience i would suggest using any version of BloodLust.
This mod was developed with focus on multiplayer and low performance effect.
It works only on humans, so any custom skeletons will be untouched and therfore fully compatible with it.

You can now disable blood spawning on a specific unit via this command
this setVariable ["WBK_BloodMod_Disable",true,true];

So what this mod does?
  • Spawns ANIMATED vanilla blood pools when unit dies. Size and type is defined whenever unit was shoot in a head or other side of the body.
  • Spawns a blood splatter on walls if unit is standing close to them.
  • Spawns blood particles on headshots (Can be disabled).
  • Adds blood and blocking particles whenever you fight in melee if IMS is enabled (Can be disabled)

Known issues
  • Blood spreading animation do not work on Virtual Reality Map!!!
  • Sometimes blood angle when spawning might look weird, that is happening due to multiple reasons (such as collision of the weapon or an object). I will try to fix it, but no promises.
  • Blood can look weird if it spawns inside of another blood pool. Thats an vanilla blood pool problem and i cant do anything about it.

now i see, when I turn off the medical system of ACE,the meat chunks work just fine......So is there any way for compatibility? I'm much into this blood effect

Many people are asking for things that go against this mods philosophy. They want an intricately detailed gorefest. Its called simple blood for a reason. It just gets the job done and only uses whats already in Arma 3. However, the one concern i do think is valid is the size of the blood pools. If possible, make them larger please.

@WebKnight Hi!

You advise to use your mod with "Some Effect Rework" and it is a really good mod. Together they complement each other. However, SER has one drawback, that your mod does not have. I see that in your mod the blood pool is strictly tied to the corpse itself. The pool of blood will be exactly under the corpse and ecen under head or torso! This super accuracy!

However, in the SER the blood pool will appear without being tied to the dead body. Even far from the dead bodies! As I see the puddle spawns when unit wounded, not only when the character dies. Thus, on the battlefield player can see dozens of puddles, without corpses. looks not good. With your knowledges, could you edit this mod so that the puddles are only under the corpses? Even don't need to split it into torso/head. Just have the blood pool appear only under the corpses. I think this is an easy task for you.

It looks like this mod author has disappeared.

Dear friend it's not a question of personal needs.

It's a question of realism, blood is not mercury.
It can't spread that fast. If you are trying to depict blood in your mod - I'm just showing you this. However, I don't insist if you don't want to show normal, realistic blood it's your right...

@_mickey_ yeah its quite hard to change the mod to someone else liking. I suggest if you dont like something, you can always change it yourself for your own needs.

@WebKnight Do you think I haven't tried Bloodlust? This mod not have good effects and It's a killer of your performanse. Instead of Bloodlust, I'm using the DISMEMBERING AND GORE mod, which is based on Bloodlust.

But the problem is that both mods don't know how to create normal BloodPool, they have texture flickering. And the texture itself doesn't work indoors!

Your mod best implemented Blood pool, Is it really that so hard for you to at least slow down the expansion of the pool of blood?
