GOD GAME: Thrillhouse Edition

I'd like to report an issue, namely that all animated cards are broken. "Error Video Player: Can't Play Movie". From doing research, it seems like Unity just completely broke MP4 and M4A video file loading at some point? It doesn't seem to have any real fix, apart from converting all video files to WEBM encoding using VP8 (not VP9, specifically it seems?). If anyone is familiar with this error, or knows a workaround, I'd love some advice. In the meantime, I guess I'm downloading and converting every single animated card in the game

I dont believe so, i should have the latest (only subscribed to it yesterday)

I think i just had to relaunch the game a couple of times to get all (or most) of the cards to load, so im assuming it was just my computer being slow. Error messages still show but i dont think they affect anything significant (at least nothing i noticed)

Hi, whenever i load the game, a bunch of the cards appear completely blank, as if they didnt load properly. I also get some error messages in the chat, something like "WWW Image Error: Unknown Error at (steamusercontent link)" Is this an error on my part?

is that so? i really hope that's the case for everyone!! regardless, we're still going to be reimporting on our side too, thanks to the large amount of text and visual updates i've been working on. to give an update on that, i would say i'm around 75% done? it'll still be a bit longer. thanks for the patience, everyone!

in case anyone has been wondering, i tried loading godgame a day or two ago and it seems the filegarden issue has been fixed.

i got 1 error upon loading the game, but i went through all the cards and didnt notice anything missing or blank? idk

those things aren't in "thrillhouse edition" currently, so they're not on the thrillhouse edition rules document as of now. i believe some of those terms can be found on the "card submission guide", which we use when taking card submissions when streaming. you should be able to find it through the !guide command on my twitch channel, though please be warned it is not maintained as much as the thrillhouse edition player's guide!
