I can't guarantee that myself though since I only test in singleplayer, and with this kind of mod it's better to be safe than sorry, so "Does not work in Multiplayer" warning will still be there.
I wonder if server anti-cheat prevented the mod from working in previous case... Do you have it enabled?
If you were too exhausted or fatigued for the last push, it will say "nooo..."
If you were just unlucky ("Use Chance" not passed), it will say "..."
If no text appeared above the character's head, then it's probably a bug.
Can you share the exact Last Push Trait sandbox settings used?
Short answer: automatically when you are overwhelmed.
By default, you earn the trait at level 10 strength.
You can change the strength level or disable earning the trait in "Last Push Trait" sandbox settings tab.
