描述
A set of vanilla-styled sprites that mimic* the cutscenes/official art assets used in the game.
*Including the fact that no single drawn depiction, vanilla or otherwise, is ever consistent. (Had to make chimeras out of the few images we got for Downpour) (RW moment)

Any bugs or incompatibilities are not my fault as this mod is a dependent of DMS, ask for help there instead.

P.S. as of 1.5, watcher can now use multicolored sprites and body sprites YIPEE!!

NOTICE
ALL ADDITIONAL SKIN CONTENTS MAY POTENTIALLY BE MOVED TO A SISTER PACK TO STREAMLINE THE EXPERIENCE FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T NEED EXTRA COSMETICS.

(EXCLUDED: ARTI/HUNTER FATAL, DIGITIGRADE LEGS (ALL VARIANTS), PORTRAIT LEGS (ALL VARIANTS), MSC PARTS & THEIR FACE VARIANTS, VANILLA PLUS (ALL VARIANTS), ALL BODY TYPE SETS)

Tail proportioning is at the bottom of the description. (Vanilla for more modest proportions, Custom for preview accurate ones)

All manually colored sprites have preset colors and will display properly when selected.

To prevent asymmetric hip and body coloring issues, set your colors to whatever you need via the campaign custom color sliders.

(Make sure you reset the tail color when using individual pieces from certain sets (Inv). DMS presets like to change the tail color even if you don't pick it. (Horribly annoying bug))


"Can I use your skins as templates for my own DMS mods?"
Ask for permission in the comments section and I'll be happy to let you! All I ask is that you provide proper credit.

"What is/isn't acceptable?"
  • You may not modify or use my assets for public DMS mods until you ask for permission. Just ask first.

  • Do not repost my sprites as-is or as separate templates. (Don't profit off my work.)

  • Do not claim "Sprites are inspired" by my mod then recolor/rip/trace my sprites and pass it off as your own work. It is okay to reference, but don't trace the frames.

  • For credit: Direct links or clear text mentions are perfectly acceptable.

  • Formerly private skins will require proper credit if made public. (I don't care or mind if you edit my stuff for your own personal use. Just credit me properly and notify me if you ever make it public.)

  • If you are crediting a separate mod that uses my sprites: Credit appropriately, as it includes both their work and mine.

that'd add like a million variants i don't want to make yet. that plus i'm planning on moving the non-essential skin contents to its own sister mod.

also portrait what? you're leaving out crucial context.

like portrait vanilla plus? (it'd be kinda redundant as vanilla plus already resembles portrait legs)

or portrait fatal? (which is already planned but i want to redo the walk cycle for portrait again, it's not as smooth as i wanted it to be)

i already got some vplus stuff planned as well, but it's not inv. maybe later down the line i will. might get impulsive idk.

this is my fav mod but i have a smol question to ask: could you add portrait and vanilla plus inv and fatal sprites? also maybe custom sprites for a missing eye on each side with the personality? sorry if it sounds like alot you dont gotta do it right away also thanks for reading this

May I have permission to use some of these assets to make a custom Watcher skin?
I love the cutscene slugcat aesthetic, but would like to make two skin variants for a partially rotted and white speckled variant.
It would probably never be uploaded.

only ever found her on the corrupt regions after traveling too much, map says none of the 6 regions i visited had her

the purple spawn is about as useful as Iggy when you eat one of moon's neurons
