Planet Saprimentas Reimagined

Saprimentas was discovered in 496 NE by the Orlen Astronomers' Association during an atmospheric spectroscopy survey of nearby exoplanets. Located 6.8 lightyears from Angelus, Saprimentas is a large and hot super-earth with a very dense atmosphere. The atmospheric composition is high in CO2 and CH4, but it retains a small layer of O2, suggesting the presence of plant-life.

Saprimentas has been bombarded by several large impacts. There are several large craters on the planet's surface, and upon physical examination, they were dated to be within 1,000 years old. Life flourishes in these craters, and ice can be found in abundance at these sites. Alien life enthusiasts say that this is concrete evidence that Saprimentas was subject to a failed alien terraforming operation. but mainstream science suggests that this is a random incidence of several very large and nearly-simultaneous comet impacts.

Additionally, visual studies have confirmed extensive savannah-like plant-life at the poles. Subsurface ice has been located beneath the poles and salt-flats, and at the bottom of extinct rivers.

This remake of the planet Saprimentas was done because I have advanced my skills and knowledge with planet-making, and the old Saprimentas no longer lives up to my vision for the world. The two have entirely different and unique geographies, and are essentially two different planets under the same theme.

However, both planets will remain online, and I hope that fans of the old world will enjoy my new vision for it!
