See the statistics of any weapon you look at!

gs_show (0/1) - Set whether or not you should see the information panels (1 = show)

Each different class of weapon can be given a unique color for their name, these are the default colors:
Primary - Blue
Secondary - Yellow
Grenade - Orange
Special - Red

All colors are easily customisable, as well as the boundries for the different stat ratings
Padding, the width of the panel, font used, position above the weapon and fade speeds are all customizable, look in the lua/gunstats/cl_config.lua file.

Should you encounter any Lua errors while using this addon, please check if you have made mistakes while customising the addon by pasting the contents of the cl_config.lua file to this page[www.lua.org] and adding this to the top of the text box:
GS = {}; Color = function() end; GS.Stats = {}
Then hit "Run" below, and check the output box for errors.

It's because the addon uses scripted weapon's values. In GMod, 'automatic' weapons will continue firing if you hold down the attack button. TTT is particularly guilty of this, with multiple shotguns, rifles, and pistols being set as automatic. Sorry if it irritates you, but changing the information for individual weapons would be more work than it's worth.

The information panel fades in when you look at a weapon and quickly fades out once you look away. No two panels are fully visible at the same time, the fading was disabled for some screenshots to allow comparisons.
This addon will work with pretty much any game mode you want to use it with, but you must configure it according to your game mode's weapon structure. This requires proficient Lua knowledge - if you are unable to do it yourself send me a message on Steam and I'll try to help you out.
