This mod utilizes images and concepts from the Elder Kings 2 mod. (Posting may be suspended due to unauthorized use.)

Mod Description:
  • This mod adds genetic traits that extend or limit lifespan.

Trait Descriptions:
  • LifeRack ( I-III )
    Fertility is increased by 20% to 100%.
    Life expectancy is reduced by 10 to 40 years.

  • LifeSpan ( I-III )
    Life expectancy is increased by 20 to 120 years.
    Years of fertility is increased by 10 to 80 years.
    Has health benefits
    Inbreeding chance is reduced by 10% to 50%.

  • LifeSpan ( IV-V )
    Life expectancy is increased by 250 to 500 years.
    Years of fertility is increased by 200 to 400 years.
    Has health benefits.
    Inbreeding chance is reduced by 70% to 90%.

  • Immortal
    Life expectancy is increased by 10,000 years.
    Years of fertility is increased by 10,000 years.
    Has health benefits.
    Inbreeding chance is reduced by 100%.

Update History:
  • 1.0.0 - Initial upload.
  • 1.0.1 - Adjusted trait allocation points, modified to display English in unsupported languages.
  • 1.1.0 - Traits effect modification, deactivation of "Incapable" when "LifeSpan" is present.
  • 1.1.1 - Added Chinese language.
  • 1.2.0 - Remove the effect of fertility in LifeSpan traits etc.

It's a very good module, but there is a problem that the second and third level traits are still a bit common, and the probability of inheritance is also very high. There are many old people in my game who can live to be over 150 years old, hahahaha

To remove the chance of other characters getting the lifespan traits go into the mod file located here.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\3002078466\common\traits

To remove the chance for randomly generated characters to spawn with it delete the line that says "random_character = 0.1" or whatever it is and to remove the chance for newborns to spawn with it delete the line that says "birth = 0.1" etc. and save the file.

You'll have to remove those lines for every tier of the trait.

If you make a mistake just reinstall the mod and try again. I also removed the LifeRack traits and the inbreeding reduction effects of the lifespan traits. It's working great for me so far.:steamthumbsup:

Wish there was an option to make NPCs not randomly spawn with it. I like to headcanon traits in various games.

This mod is compatible with AGOT, it just gives random NPC's the traits up to level 3 from what I've seen so far. The level 3 trait spawns less often than level 1 or 2. Very good mod
