made for your cab over trucking needs.
The Actros is a truck made for long distance transport. As you may have guessed from the name the truck was introduced in 2011. To stay in my theme of making Dutch vehicles, the Actros was designed by a Dutch designer.



Content:

- Mercedes Benz Actros 2011 as a vehicle in four colours: White, black, yellow and blue
- Mercedes Benz Actros 2011 as a prop (paintable)



Legal:

Redistributing the locomotives unalterd is not allowed.

Making liveries, using the truck for screenshots or using the truck on your layout is allowed and does not require permission.

yea sure go ahead. just note that the model doesn't have a proper uv unwrap. it's texture something like a 4x4 pixel grid.

can i edit this model (different colour lights, steering wheel on other side, windows that aren't black, different sounds, possibly paintable, etc) and make a version with 6 wheels and upload them? (while giving credit)

the steering wheel is on the left because I preffer that. I make my assets with a (usually) european setting in mind. In which a steering column to the left is more common. Black windows where an artistic choise, It keeps them in line with my trains, that also have black windows. I understand the confusion as RL cars windows are always transparent.
Finally the drivalable versions are not paintable because that is not allowed by the game. Just like you can't paint trains.
I hope that clears up your confusion.

this mod is good but how come the steering wheel is on the left but the rest of the in-game cars have a steering wheel on the right and how come there is black windows and drivable versions are not paintable?

I am happy to hear you like the mod!
I have made the Ural 4320 truck as well. It's an old sovjet truck, but that might not be what you are hoping for. For the rest I don't know. Both trucks were old moddels I had laying around, so they where relativly easy to bring into RL. as for what mods I am making in the future I can't tell because I don't know myself.

Oh my god FINALLY! I've been waiting for some kind of cab over trucks for such a long time. The fact that it's also my favorite truck just adds to the satisfaction. thank you!!!
