Dongfeng 4C diesel locomotive (later called DF4C) is one of the main line freight diesel locomotive models used in China railway. It was developed by Dalian Rolling Stock Works in 1985 and put into mass production in 1990. DF4C is an upgraded product developed on the basis of Dongfeng 4B diesel locomotive.
