Also what about the MP5? I think with those 3 guns the game will feel more like Black Mesa, the MP5 is definitely the gun that sees the most use throughout the game I think so I'd say it's fairly important, I already suspected that porting the more advanced and unique weapons wouldn't be easy or possible until HL2VR goes open source but stuff like the pistol, revolver and MP5 should be doable even if it's just a reskin of the MP7 with the BM's MP5 sounds.
Also, it would seem weapon modding may be a bit more flexible than you might think at first, see this mod (https://gamebanana.com/mods/408730) for an example of both changed magazine position, hand poses, and adding a working scope like the crossbow, all without code changes. Seems a lot of it is just controlled by the models and animations so much of the standard weapons may be possible to implement without code access.
Do you know how I could get these to work in the HL2VR and EP1?
