Backpacks Lite

Omschrijving
A derivative of LeDoux's fantastic Backpacks (And More!) mod. For those searching for that mod, it is found here: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2613901395

This mod adds backpacks, crates, and other containers. While the original mod is very well done, it has a power level that is far too high for vanilla. This mod seeks to correct the imbalance while adding some tweaks and changes.

List of differences:
- Updated English localizations
- Fewer items, specifically: no miniguns, xeno-backpacks, shield arrays, or anything more powerful than a simple quality of life improvement.
- In line with this purpose, the Oxy-Gen backpack is now battery powered. A battery slot was added to compensate.
- The Oxy-Gen backpack no longer provides oxygen to the wearer while worn. No more portable ECMO machine.
- For the sake of quality of life, backpacks now have a flat movement speed reduction instead of a graduated reduction tied to the backpack's fullness.
- Heavy backpacks can no longer contain heavy crates.
- Regular crates no longer disassemble into steel. Although it made sense, outpost managers are too cheap to use real steel. Instead, they use spray-painted carboard with a single nail in it. The nail is what makes the metal noise when it drops.
- Tactical body armor no longer can contain medium items, as holding four HMGs was deemed "a bit silly".
- Diving suits no longer accept oxygenite shards. This is not a balance decision, it is a compatibility change. Also, breathing solid oxygenite turned out to be a really bad idea.
- Small containers can spawn naturally in wrecks and outposts. They are always empty, but until I figure out how to change that, blame the wreckage gnomes.

All backpacks have been equipped with tiny lights, to let you be seen in the dark. Access the backpack menu by holding it in your hands, and swinging it like a turkey baster full of morphine. The only exception is the Oxy-Gen backpack, which has a light on at all times while it still has battery charge.

Thanks A LOT for this mod. While I appreciate the QoL the original mod brings, it is a bit... powerful, indeed… I've always found the 20 medical boost on the medical backpack quite a lot…

I have identified a glitch, however. I wouldn't know how to describe it, but the lights emitted by the backpacks tend to… get stuck, on background environment ? Equip one and run around the Camel, you'll see what I mean.

Backpack are already hand portable with the E key on the ground.

Hello
Great idea, I also tried to do something similar
Maybe it makes sense to make backpacks portable in the hands, like in this mod?

And one more thing that I could not do. It would be very cool to ban the storage of weapons in rucksacks, which can only be worn on the back. And store it only in a heavy backpack in container slots (with an icon as a belt slot).
It would be perfect.
And it can slightly reduce the capacity of a heavy box.

I could see it getting shot once, and sending the wearer flying like a super-powered fire extinguisher. That sounds fun, I'll look into making that happen while I'm experimenting with the properties of wearables.

I mean it wouldn't make you explode but it would make you burn at the highest efficiency possible so you'd turn into a human flare

That sounds like the most explosive thing I can possibly imagine. I love it.

Chances of using Oxy-Gen code to make a massive oxygen cylinder that fits on your back with like half an hour of air?
