China Railway HXD1B/HXD1C Electric Locomotive

The HXD1B/HXD1C electric locomotive of China Railway is a two type, six axle, high-power electric locomotive put into production by Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Company in 2009. The HXD1B locomotive is developed and manufactured in cooperation with SIEMEN, using a large number of imported components, with a continuous power of 9600KW. The HXD1C is independently developed and produced after introducing and absorbing some advanced technologies, and most of the components have achieved localization, with a continuous power of 7200KW.
