Equipment UI - Paper Doll Equipment Interface [B42/41]

Mô tả


Equipment UI
Equipment UI is an addition to Project Zomboids interface that adds a paper doll (STALKER / tArKov inspired) equipment panel for managing and viewing your character's equipment.

Use mod options to hide equipped items from your inventory.

Part 2 - NOW AVAILABLE



Drag and Drop
Drag and Drop items to and from the equipment ui to easily adjust your equipment!
Equipment slots will highlight and change color to visualize conflicting equipment.

Customize Your Layout
The equipment window can be detached and positioned anywhere. It will follow and collapse with the inventory when it is attached. The layout is saved between sessions.

Hotkey
Includes a customizable control for opening/closing the Equipment UI. The keyboard control can be adjusted in the game's regular control options. The controller binding can be changed via Mod Options.
The keyboard defaults to comma.
The controller defaults to SELECT (or LS/L3 if using Wookiee Gamepad Support)


Mod Options
Install mod options to adjust the mod to your liking!
Hide equipped items from your inventory and change the scale of the Equipment UI!



FAQ
Does this work in multiplayer?
Yes.

Does this work with modded items?
Yes. I've accounted for many non-vanilla body slots, anything not accounted for will neatly display at the bottom of the equipment ui before the hotbar slots.

For those who cant use the mod in Multiplayer b41, just add the mod to the list of steam workshop in the server settings in the menu

PS: Notloc, Idk if you're still alive out there, but great work on the B41 version of this mod, and feel free to reach out on Discord if you ever decide to update this, because I have the flicker fix in an unlisted mod for the server I've been hosting.

Amber's issue on the last page is B42 specific (that file does not exist in the B41 version of the mod). I don't see any such item as a "chest harness" in my item list and don't know how MILK was able to equip two things in the same equipment slot, so I cannot reproduce that to get to the bottom of it, but it sounds like a mod is allowing something that perhaps shouldn't be allowed (equipping two items to the exact same equipment location on the body). If anyone can respond with 2 vanilla items that can be simultaneously equipped to the same slot, I will try to reproduce MILK's bug in my own config and report back. Maybe "chest harnesses" and double-equipping is a B42 feature or bug; I wouldn't know because I don't play B42. I just wanted people on B41 to be aware that this mod still works for B41 players on both controller and keyboard.

For passersby: this mod DOES work in B41 MP by itself. We're running it on a dedicated server just fine. You may not have both the workshop id and the mod id in the correct places in your ini if it is not working, or you may have a major conflict with another mod. I don't know about MILK's unique item duplication issue below, but this mod certainly does not cause black screen on load for me, nor does it throw any errors under any of the normal circumstances that we have encountered in our first 20 or 30 hours on the server. The only issue we've encountered in normal multiplayer is that the UI will flicker briefly before closing if you unhide a collapsed inventory UI, which is minor to me in the scheme of PZ bugs.

I cannot comment on B42 at all.

Found a neat (likely) save corrupting bug. Not tested but it could be due to also having another mod that lets me pick up heavy bags.

1. Wear two things that take the same slot (i.e. satchel + chest harness). The satchel being the main piece while the harness is to the side
2. Fill satchel with whatever
3. Click the harness in the equipment UI to open the pop up tab
4. In the pop up tab, drag the satchel out of inventory (do not release)
5. Right click or move to flick the inventory closed and open
6. Drag the satchel back into the equipment slot (not the pop up)
7. It will drop the satchel on the floor but also keep one equipped

The satchels are linked together, however, there are workarounds for that.

How do you equip the keychain?
