Omschrijving
Firstly this is a STANDALONE MOD, NOT TO BE USED WITH THE ORIGINAL. This mod is a simple change to LaurenLore's Halo weapons. This was a personal project but after some consideration and permission from the original creator this mod is based off, decided to throw it up here for others to use should they wish. Hastily thrown together and limited testing but what I have done so far has worked for me. Have not gone in depth enough with it to allow the BR 55 and the LMG to be recoloured/ patterned.

Adds the same weapons as the original:

Reach Assault Rifle
Reach DMR
Reach Sniper
Reach Shotgun
Halo 3 ODST SMG
Halo 5 SMG (Reskinned) ----> Halo 3 SMG
Halo 5 Battle Rifle (Reskinned) ----> Halo 2 Battle Rifle
Halo 4 SAW (Reskinned) ----> Reach M73 LMG

MA5C Assault Rifle (Halo 3)
MA5K Carbine Rifle (Ghosts of Onyx Book Cover Art)

M6C/SOCOM (Auto-mag ODST)
M90 Shotgun (Halo 2/3)

This mod can not be used with the original as they are almost identical, and also requires the same addons as the original.
Simply changes the models of some weapons in the mod into more classic versions, specifically:

Halo 5 BR into the BR55 (Halo 2)
Halo 4 Saw into the M73 LMG (Early Halo Reach concept art machine gun)
Halo 5 SMG into the M7 SMG (Halo 3) and has the Halo 2 Firing Sound

Massive shoutouts to two people who without them this would not have been possible.

Firstly to LaurenLore and the original Weapon mod as I was able to use it as a basis and helped me pass through a lot of painstaking steps.

Secondly an absolutely huge shoutout to Lord_Poncho57 for helping me and guiding me on how to even start modding XCOM.

----------Equipping for Faction Classes----------

If you would like to equip these weapons on the hero classes (Reaper, Skirmisher and Templar) head to:

\Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\Config\XComClassData.ini

Scroll down until you get to the classes to change (Not the ones with MP in front of it) and adjust the allowed weapons. Example; allowing the skirmisher to use the Assault Rifle/Battle Rifle or SMG, it would look like this;

AllowedWeapons=(SlotType=eInvSlot_PrimaryWeapon, WeaponType="bullpup")
AllowedWeapons=(SlotType=eInvSlot_PrimaryWeapon, WeaponType="rifle")
AllowedWeapons=(SlotType=eInvSlot_SecondaryWeapon, WeaponType="wristblade")

By default the bullpup and wristblade are the only two allowed weapons for a skirmisher, this adds the ability for them to use anything listed as a "rifle", this being the SMG, ODST SMG,AR and BR.

This is reskins some of the weapons. You use this or the other one.

does this work with Halo Weapons Medley? I noticed that replaced weapons still have the same internal name as the ones in that mod and I was intending on replacing base game weapons withn some of these with some other mods

Update on the last in case anyone else could use it: Got it working by adding a line to the LWOTC config for Hit and Run to trigger on StandardShot_NoEnd.

Long shot maybe, but I noticed that upgrading the ODST SMG makes its so standard shots do not end the turn. Wouldn't be an issue except that (at least with LWOTC) it breaks abilities than chain another action onto a standard shot (specifically Hit and Run and Ready for Anything). Anyone know how to change the magnetic and plasma versions to have standard, turn-ending shots like the conventional version?

Really love the mod overall, it's just tough having abilities like those be compromised for one of the best weapons around.

That Battle Rifle needs a little work, it's got ugly lighting and it's way too big, but this is still the best Halo weapon pack available by far. Solid work!
