Overview
A small pack that adds a new Unique District to China: Guozijian (Chinese Imperial Academy)

History
Guozijian was organized during Sui dynasty period as the highest institution of learning in China until it was closed in 1905. It was first known as Taixue and was founded during Han dynasty. Foundation of such academy helped in administering empire, which was continuosly growning. Dynasties after Sui dynasty kept the reforms and more Guozijians were founded in various dynasties' capitals. Not all Guozijians survived until today, and most famous is one located in Beijing. Center building of district was modelled after Imperial Lecture Hall of Beijing's Guozijian


Details
Overview of changes:
Negative
  • Does not receive normal Campus adjacency from Jungles, Mountains, Reefs, Fissures

Positive
  • Provides city it is built in +20% Production towards Wonders
  • Earns Major adjacency (+2) from City Centers, Government Plazas and Wonders
  • Provides +1 Great Writer point

Available in Chinese (both traditional and simplified) and Japanese.

Compatibility
Requires GS and RF. Compatible with NFP and LP packs. District will also be added to any modded leaders of China.
RF required due to models used from that expansion.
GS required due to special code from that expansion.

Compatible with JNR's Campus Expansion, however new buildings (their models) added from expansion will not be shown.
Compatible with Civilization Conquer Mode (Madrasa and Navigation School can be built, art is set)
Should be compatible with other mods, please report if you run into problems.

@太慢鱼龙 Yes, alongside a rebalance and a custom icon (as i made this mod before i learned a lot about graphical elements of modding structures in game), an update was planned long time ago but i didnt finish it yet as i am doing other things

The little houses as the joints of walls are sometimes model-missing when 国子监 was built by the river and hide some pieces of the whole circle enclosed by the walls. Will you solve this problem by someway such as delete the walls?

Beautiful models and very nice mod! Liked to play with this a lot.

However, playing multiple games as China myself or having them as an AI opponent I must say this felt a bit overpowered.

I'd consider the following changes :

- Yields +1 Great Writer point with Library building.
- Provides the city +5% Production towards Wonders per building in the district. [in other words: +5% if the district has only library, +10% if it has both library and university, and +15% if the district has library, university and research lab]
