[DEPRECATED] [VR] Grab Range + Gravity Gloves

NOTICE: I'm labeling this as deprecated because it's old and very buggy. The range mechanic will be replaced by something else. I might remake the gravity gloves separately at a later date, but no guarantees.


Adds the ability to grab objects from a distance without the use of the physgun or ArcVR's Maggrabber. It also makes minor improvements to the default grabbing behavior. A beam will appear to indicate if you can grab an object.

Also now has a gravity glove feature so you can reach distant objects in a more immersive way.

Requires VRMod, of course.


vrgrab_maxmass (Default: 35)
Determines the maximum mass that can be picked up (in kilograms). Requires sv_cheats.

vrgrab_range (Default: 72)
Sets the max range that an object can be grabbed from. Setting this to 0 will go back to close grabs only. Useful if you only want to use the gravity gloves.

vrgrab_range_palm (Default: 0)
Enables the old range grab behavior that would rotate an object to match your palm. I found it disorientating so it was moved to this convar.


vrgrab_gravitygloves (Default: 0)
Enables the gravity gloves, allowing you to target objects from a distance and flick your wrist to pull them towards you.

vrgrab_gravitygloves_minrange (Default: 24)
Minimum distance an object must be from your hand to be targeted.
