Vanilla Races Expanded is a brand new series of mods to enhance Biotech features, add to the storytelling and the world-building of RimWorld, and to introduce new, cool types of xenohumans, complete with their own unique genes, behaviors, mechanics and items.

This mod introduces hundreds of new icons that can be used to create custom xenotypes. From variations of the original xenotype icons, to numerous custom ones, players will now be able to pick a more fitting icon for any of their custom races created in the Xenotype creator.

Overtime, we might add more icons to this mod, however it already features a huge selection that should satisfy your every need. If you think some specific icon would improve your gameplay, do not hesitate to leave a comment with a request!

This mod might not be some grand new race, but it’s a tool for you to make your own xenotypes better!

Q: Will this mod work without Biotech DLC?
A: No. It will have no effect.

A: No, you need to select them when you’re using a xenotype creator.

Er, I'll rephrase, with the assumption that maybe you're holding this back until the other "Race Expanded" mods are updated. Is the GitHub version safe to use on its own (with the framework obviously)?

Hi, I really admire your mods, so I have a question, I create my own race and my own faction, I'm mostly an amateur, not a professional, so can I use some icon from your mod for my race. If so, do I need to leave a mention somewhere or something? Thanks in advance for your answer.

In my opinion almost all strange alien icon are useless because mostly all xenotype use pseudo human, half human concept, i would enjoy to use half human-animal icons like neko, draconian, lizardman but can't find anyone without using other not vanilla style race mods

could you also ad the VRE icons for races such as the Insectors & such? I know Insectors got their own but sadly its unavailable for the xenotype editor threw that mod
