About
A handy tool for creating your own backstories inside the game. You can create a backstory and customize it however you like. You can customize the name, description, skills, work lists, spawn categories, traits, bodies and possessions.

After creating the backstory, restart the game!
Be sure to exit the menu after creating the backstory, otherwise it will not be saved!

Hi guys,
after 7 hours of fixing red bugs, I finally found out
that using Alpha Mech and Vanilla Pirate together
will cause the trait bug.

minor issue where i cant see the body type a backstory will connect to, every option except unspecified just says "missing label" any known cause?

Okay I figured it out, was a Harmony problem. While I'm here though I'm just gonna drop this for the people who've asked, if you want to put the pawn's name in the backstory, use the tag [PAWN_nameDef] exactly like that with the brackets in the text. [PAWN_pronoun] = he/she (automatically chooses appropriate gender) [PAWN_objective] = him/her [PAWN_possessive] = his/her. Have fun y'all

Hi there, running this in 1.6 with only Ideology active plus this mod and some trait mods. I can no longer see the button to edit backstories on the main menu screen. However, all the backgrounds I previously made are still in the game and apply to randomized pawns. Any idea what could be causing the button to vanish?

only by sending a file from appdata to another person so that that person can put it there.
