Remote Power

NOTE: NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MOST RECENT UPDATE (July 2023)

This mod provides a set of three different power hubs (matching the size of reactors) that can power and component up to 3, 5, or 7 blocks away. This hub needs to be powered itself, but this will allow much more complex (and cheaty) designs.

Parts powered this way cannot themselves power other devices. Meaning you cannot use a power hub to power a engine room and use that engine room to power engines.

Any bonuses provided by those components still function, only the power does not.

Balance: This mod breaks the intended balance of Cosmoteer by subverting one of the core game mechanics. While attempts at balancing it have been made to make it less distasteful to the community, this mod nevertheless changes ship design significantly and should only be used "just for fun". Mod Compatibility: This mod can only directly power vanilla components. Other mods are under no obligation to support use of this mod. Patch mods are possible, however some authors may alter their mod to prevent use with this Mod.
