Down Special - Materia Swap

The centerpiece of Aerith's moveset. Swap between one of three different materia that alter your stats, and apply an affinity to all magic attacks.

The fifth magic hit while a Materia is in use will boost its properties in different ways depending on which element is selected.

Fire: Both deal and take more damage, and you are lighter. Boosted attack deals more damage.

Ice: Both deal and take less damage, and you are slower. Boosted attack has increased hitstun.

Thunder: You're lighter and quicker. Boosted attack has increased knockback.

A selected Materia can be swapped again at any time, or manually switched off by holding Down Special when activated.

Neutral Special - Arcane Ward

Aerith summons a field which will double any magic hitbox within it. Holding the special button will allow you to cast it further away.

Side Special - Tempest

A chargable projectile that, when fully charged, changes into a larger, travelling projectile that will eventually burst, dealing more damage.

Up Special - Lustrous Shield

A barrier that can be used as a platform. Knocking enemies into it will cause them to bounce off it as though it was a wall. It can only be used once in the air without touching ground again.
