Note that the othe vanilla issue is still there as described in the report below, it's quite separate from this one.
Specifically, when I try to use the Find Spouse interaction to find a spouse for any of my children, no candidates appear; the window says 0 out of 0 characters. I am, however, able to find spouses for my other courtiers.
The issue does not occur with no mods, and I have verified that it occurs when only this mod is enabled. I could try to provide a save file if that would be helpful.

We noticed another marriage issue that was fixable and fixed it - lowborn characters couldn't marry each other if the recipient had the new Chinese consaguinity doctrine.
@Bradeurs I have no issue finding spouse either as a child or as adult or for someone of my court so doesn't seems to come from here.
