New Updates
Hello, new update is here, decided to release this one earlier since i've been modding these for the last 5 days like a goblin and my brain was turning into mush from stuff not working, autistically making sure textures are perfect and brainstorming and tedious table editing.
It's not 100% finished but i need to touch some grass and play the game a bit before going on vacation so i pushed it out to let people try it before i leave and forget what i was doing.
So what did i add?
Well the new hero type i said last time the Scarlet Priestess is here! And somehow i ended up making a new general lord too! And then i also added flying units for the Bloody Rose! Added Pegasus Knights, and as a bonus i added a dragon unit! Cause why don't the Vampires have access to an Dragon? He's not undead thought it's a Carmine Dragon.
Now every need in the roster is pretty much covered and thus you don't have to use the base undead units anymore if you wanna do a thematic campaign.

Introduction
First updates will be focused on my Bloody Rose Order and Blood Legion mix mod(this one btw) it itself being based on some older mods and concepts i had for WH2. You can see the originals here: LoW - Blood Legion and WO - Order of the Bloody Rose.
And since i decided to finally expand on the ideas in my mind and finally put them down on something else besides my brain modding those ideas in some tangible way in WH3 is a good start.
Lore? Lore Friendly? No, nothing about units or characters featured on this are close to anything or based on Warhammer lore, the game is just a vehicle to make them real and as closest as the game allows them to my lore ideas, while still being as close as possible to something as game balance and sense in the warhammer 3 lore.
TL:DR connection? Portal opens to Warhammer world? Hmm, we ball let's go visit.

New Lord Type

The General of the Scarlet Empire does what the name implies, it's a thematic lord that will lead these units into battle and is the only lord type that will buff these units besides the unique lord Jahra.

2 New Hero Types
The Vampire Captain is a new type of hero that will be recruitable in your campaign.
Unlike the other vampire heroes they are more focused on melee combat and buffing your units throught some very usefull aura skills.

The Scarlet Priestess is mostly a support unit that can do a bit of everything, but her role is mostly healing and buffing althought she has access to usefull debuff and single target damage skills and have a special summon ability for undead knights.


Units Added
  • Sister of the Bloody Rose
    • The Infantry units of the Order are heavily armoured elite units. The 3 options have different roles, Warriors are the melee damage dealers, Guardians are good at holding their ground and while Sentinels can take down enemies from the safety of the backlines with arrow fire and put up a decent fight in melee once out of ammo.
    • The Cavalry is made up of heavily armoured Knights of the Bloody Rose, ascended as vampires they have the frenzy ability and cause their enemies fear.
  • Blood Legion
    • War Wolves are fast deployable units with vanguard that can quickly harass backline artillery and archers.
    • Legionnaires are the core of the Legion, good in melee they come in 2 variants Swordsmen and Halberdiers.
    • Challengers are heavy hitting anti-infantry units that relish in a challenge and become stronger as the fight gets harder, available as foot-infantry or mounted Knights.
    • Knights come in basically 3 variants, armed with Swords and Lances or as Demigryph Knights.

New Buildings
Yap Yap text about buildings, you build the new units from new building, as they take a slot from the limited slots in the game i added some bonuses that the base building have into them aswell. I suggest using a mod for increased building slots as i personally found it makes the game more fun and gives you a reason to keep growing some settlements.

AI&Exclusivity
Units will not be recruitable by the AI for now and are available for the Vampire Counts Factions.

Tech&Skills
The new lord(S) added has skills that buff these units, use them combined.

Notes
  1. Mod is still in the work and not finished so any suggestions and help with testing is appreciated, i'm just one man.
  2. No taking of any assets in this mod unless you ask for permission, it's kinda rude to take stuff without asking.
  3. I will not personnally make compability patches with other big overhaul mods unless i use them. Feel free to make your own submod aslong as you link the original as a requirement, i will put a link to it here so others can find them.
  4. Translation mods as always are welcome.
  5. The mod will work 100% of the time in vanilla, crashes when using other mods are not my responsability. I try to make the mod as compattible as possible but something can go wrong, if it crashes try launching the mod on it's own first and then see what mods you could be using that conflict.

  2. Polish translation by wojtekb.
  3. German translation by TRON.

Or maybe Vlad could buff the Legion units and Isabella could buff the Sisters units??? That would be a cool new form of synergy for keeping the two together!!!

The description implies Vlad does not buff these, it would be neat if he or at least Isabella could as I was kind of hoping to use these instead of most vanilla units.

@DocHolliday eventually i will try to make it a standalone, but i need to figure out how to make it since it's not as easy as making new units, will probably have to look into how other faction mods work.
