Hey, do you want your load order to be beautiful and tidy?

Do you want to relief your eye strain because of looking back and forth just to make sure your load order is correct?

Then maybe this is a mod for u!

Introducing..

Kenshi Load Order Organizer (K.L.O.O)


[DESCRIPTION]
Inspired by "Proper Load Order & You" by Atlas, you should check it out!

Whats this mod does is each mod contain numbers and explanation that you need to organize your mod, is as simple as that.

[HOW TO USE]
THERE ARE 2 WAYS YOU CAN DO WITH THIS MOD:

For people who plays kenshi for a while:
Activate KLOO before starting your game > exit the game > Go to your Kenshi directory > data > then find the file [mod.cfg] > edit your load order from there.

OR

For people who start playing kenshi yesterday:
You can install the KLOO and placed your mod manually based on the guide above, for example:

Kenshi Load Order Organizer.mod
[1]----------[UI, Graphics, Performance]----------.mod
Dark UI.mod
Compressed Texture Project.mod
...
[2]----------[Animations]----------
etc.

Seriously right now theres no separator/organizer for kenshi LO.
so in order to make things easy for players i created this mod.

@Mercer the mod load order are being saved somewhere else, I believe in you C: drive (documents, appdata, applocal etc forgot where exactly). So when you uninstalled the game the mod order list still exists. When you reinstalled the game, Kenshi.exe just used that load order again. Any old mods will be organized like they where use to, and new mods are placed at the bottom.

I suggest just sticking to a collections, believe me I tried to manage my own 100+ mod list and about 10+ hours in I get consistent crashes from a mod conflict that I have no idea how to even start troubleshooting. Now I have 200+ mods enabled and no crashes and run as smooth as butter.

I used the second highest rated collection, the first one runs like ass on my PC. I also added about 10+ mods that are not present in that collection followed the general rule of mod organization [1 animation & performance, 2 animations, 3 Races, etc etc ] and so far so good.

@mercer I download the Kenshi Mod Manager from github and added this mod to organize everything. Great mod!

maybe i´m wrong, I used to use this mod a lot, but now, I reinstalled kenshi and use this, and for some reason, when I open my mod list, the mods are automatically ordered. did I miss something? or it has been always like this? now i want to repeat it becouse it seems when I use a new mod, it doesn´t order automatically. any ideas?

@Lio this does not sort the mod for you. This mod adds nothing to the game, but it appears during the mod manager so you can sort your mods properly.

For example in the mod manager

[1] Mod Organizer [UI, grfx, performance] = AKA this mod
UI Mod number 1
UI Mod number 2
Graphics Mod
Performance Mod
[2] Mod Organizer [ Animation] = AKA this mod
Ultimate Animation Overhaul
More animation mod
Etc animation mod
[3] Mod org races = AKA this mod
RPG races
Cat girl races
demon girl races
etc. races

And so on.

like, should it (Top to bottom) go from 1 to 11 or 11 to 1?
