Update 02/09/2025
I made a new version of this mod with better savegame compatibility: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3560935146
However, if you were already using this older version and you have invested a skillpoint in Thorek's Proven Tools, keep using this version for the rest of the campaign. It'll work perfectly fine.

update 27/08/2025:
Finally updated this mod, though I think it still worked anyway, apart from the UI being a bit wrong. I've resolved that, though this version is slightly less savegame friendly. It works fine to activate in an ongoing save if you haven't yet put a skill point in Proven Tools. If you have, you will lose it and have to activate the skill again on the next level up.

Back for WHIII due to popular demand! (one person asked)
Instead of having Thorek's skill "Proven Tools" give Rune of Seeking to grudge throwers and Rune of Burning to bolt throwers, this mod is the other way around. I felt it made more sense that way.

true, plus its specifically for Thorek's skills so i doubt they would change it, but maybe in my opinion its better just to keep it up to date with the versions, thats it but thats ur decision :steamthumbsup:

That's good to know. I'm back to playing the game, but haven't really gotten round to looking at updating my mods. This one should work for as long as CA doesn't make changes to this particular skill.

Hey man, I've run into a problem with your mod. If you give grudgethrowers the homing banner or bolt throwers the explosive banner with this mod, the game seems to crash once they fire in a manual battle.
Has anyone else expereienced this?

Guess I'll need to start another Thorek campaign and pay attention to see it in action!
