PLEASE READ

This is Patron Gods. Please use this mod only if you want all of the features of Patron of Tzeentch, Patron of Slaanesh, Patron of Khorne, & Patron of Nurgle. The individual mods will not function properly together to the same effect as this mod. So either choose one to use at a time or this mod.

Hello asinine mortals I am Theakrus and Welcome to SCM's Patron Gods Unit Mod.

This mod gives you every type new marked God specific WoC unit from my other Patron packs in one!
Please see breakdown of balancing details above.



Each god marked unit is recruitable via the same buildings as their existing counterparts (Marauders of X, Chaos Warriors of X, Chosen of X), same goes for Nurgles recruitment. There is a new thematic Chosen for each god including some new abilities and contact effects derived/inspired from lore.

All units scale with existing Redlines & Tech of their counterparts (Marauders of X, Chaos Warriors of X, Chosen of X).

I have taken measures to ensure the custom contact effects do not get overwritten via tech, do not worry.

These are not, and will not be made recruitable by Daniel, do not ask, idc what your reasoning is.



This mod's unit cards were commissioned by R1iko please use his mod for alternative WH3 unit cards as the UI will be much better and more seamless.

Q: Will you make this mod compatible with X-Y-Z/make a sub mod for X-Y-Z?

A: No, this is the most annoying request for modders, please DO NOT ask for this, there are plenty of people who only do submods, please ask them.

Q: Why is this mod making my game crash?

A: Please uncheck and check all of your mods, if this mod works alone then it isn't crashing your game it is conflicting with another mod editing the same tables. I will not respond to vague "my game crash" posts (and they will be removed). Please find the mod conflict yourself in your mod pool first. This mod has been tested for 6-8 hours a day for the last week, it works.

Q: Can you add these units?

A: I rarely update my mods with new unit requests as I am constantly moving to and assisting other projects.

I love comments and feedback but with the volume of them all I ask is you read these descriptions before commenting, if your comment was deleted/ignored there is a 99% chance it was addressed in this description.

The ranged units added by this mod don't benefit from the red skills for marauder horsemen. In my Vilitch playthrough, if you mouse over the redline skill for marauder horsemen, the marauder hunters aren't there. I fixed an issue similar to this last year. Here was my comment:

"Tzeentch javelins don't benefit from redline skills whereas the other 3 God's missile infantry do. I did a temporary fix on this and I posted it in the skeleton crew discord.

In unit_set_to_unit_junctions_tables, the entries for tzeentch marauders doesn't link them to marauder horsemen unlike the slaanesh version. I posted a picture of what lines I changed in the #skeleton_crew channel in discord last January 26, just ctrl+f my name on that channel. Thanks! "

I cant seem to find the Chose Nurgle (Manreapers) in campaign. When I try to recruit units they show up but it says that they cant be recruited and they also dont show up in any military building

@Barbecue Pistol Theakrus is the original mod author, but this mod adds new Chosen, Chaos Warriors and/or Marauders units. You can see pictures of them and unit stats if you look through the images

Hi, would you add a description of what's actually included in this mod? All I'm seeing is it's compiling content from 4 other mods without linking to them and I can't seem to find any of them on the workshop, so I have no idea what this mod actually does.
