Trading Colonies

Descrizione
This mod sets up trade routes at the start of the campaign between Old World factions and their colonies

Intro:
I always found it odd that the new world colonies and the Bretonnian crusader kingdoms were not trading with the old world. Colonies generally were set up to funnel strange exotic goods back to the founding nations with many an enterprising person making a fortune along the way.

What this Mod does:

1. Empire + Marienburg will trade with Huntsmarshal expedition.
2. Empire also trades with Volkmar down in Sudenburg.
3. Tilea & Estalia trade with new world colonies.
4. Lyonesse funds Repanse.
5. Couronne funds all crusades as well as Repanse and Alberics quest.

Updated for 6.3, added a few high elf colonies trading with Lothern.

Surprised you don't have at least Tyrion trading with the High Elf colonies out in those islands.

It should be possible to run the script after the first turn for Gelt too, though.

@Piotrek Gelt doesn't start with any settlements so you can't start with a trade agreement with him.

Like the mod, but I think it would make more sense if you also started with diplomatic contact with the factions you're trading with. Feels very odd that traders are travelling back and forth but you can't send a diplomatic message.

One of my friends is a big fan of Skaven and would love it if some of the other clans started off with diplomatic contact with each other, especially Skryre, since the major skaven clans are spaced wide apart and frequently die out before you encounter them.

I don't like "emissaries of diplomacy." Starting the campaign with a trade agreement is more fun than what "emissaries" does.

Ragnarok's mods allow for sea lanes and trade networks. There's also an emissaries of diplomacy mod that will allow you to have "missions" where you make contact with overseas colonies and can establish trade (without "seeing" the land around them)
