One Handed PsiJacks

Description
This mod introduces a new weapon designed specifically to solve the floaty/handheld Shard Gauntlet issue, present when they are paired with a Ballistic Shield. It is heavily inspired by Iridar's One Handed Templar Gauntlets, and uses a copy Iridar's modified animations from that mod.

To solve the issue, the mesh of the weapon is actually attached to the R_Claw socket on the right arm, and as such it needed a brand new mesh, I chose a heavily modified version of the Skulljack, based on work RustyDios and Drakten Hugues did in the past.

The Psijack, Infused Psijack and Energised Psijack are classified as Gauntlets, and have identical stats to their same tier Shard Gauntlets, the differences are purely cosmetic.


This mod is cooked.

Compatibility

Blutengel - The inspiration for this mod and I have included configs to make Psijacks it's default weapon.

Ballistic Shields - Psijacks are made to pair with them, but not required for use.

Psionics Ex Machina 3.2 - Supported via the newest update to PexM GEM Gauntlets.

Prototype Armoury - Natively Supported.

I have that mod but i cannot seem to patch the psi jack to apply the templar pose via that mod's config...

@Orange Shards this mod doesn't have anims other than just the single blade. If you want the template pose on other soldiers you need the Templar Animations for Soldiers mod.

the anim is not working on other classes than templar, looks like they are holding empty rifle. how to fix this?

Yes, but the weapon description says it can gain focus, and the appearance is the same, which is confusing. I hope he doesn't have this balance, but I can't find a similar mod

Yes, I found that it only applies to the main weapon. I saw your introduction and thought it was just as suitable for secondary weapons as psychic melee combat. It's a pity that I can't find a mod on my entire Steam that can equip the secondary weapon position and provide the focus,As a substitute for shard gauntlets

psychic melee is the secondary weapon clone of shard gauntlets, they are a different weapon entirely effectively. psijacks are identical in every way to normal shard gauntlets except they have different animations.
