Completely rewritten and a more stable version of RagMod!

RagMod allows you to become a controllable ragdoll on command or with various triggers such as crashing a vehicle, falling from a height and taking damage from explosions or other sources.

You can control the ragdoll from either first or third person view.

Almost everything is configurable within the toolmenu and from a standalone window if the toolmenu doesn't exists in the gamemode you are playing.


Check out Player Tumbler by Radical Larry, it allows you to ragdoll when running into walls or obstacles, when hitting your head, and more!

RagMod includes a module and some hooks to interact with the addon.
It's constantly expanding, and API features requests are taken into consideration!

Ragdolls can roll around with the movement keys (WASD). The rolling speed can be changed.

Ragdolls can fly toward the direction the player is looking at. Default key: left control

Ragdolls can reach their arms to grab items or hang from obstacles or vehicles. Default keys: mouse buttons

Hitting a door as a ragdoll hard enough will destroy the door. Larger doors are harder to destroy, but the resistance can be adjusted.

All ragdoll movement types and abilites can be toggled on or off

RagMod allows you to look through the eyes of a ragdoll. Press the f key to cycle through the different view types.
Different playermodels have different head sizes, so RagMod allows you to adjust how much you want to see of the model in first person. Also, because not all models have the eyes at the same place, the eye position can be adjusted.

The server host is able to force the view type for all players.

RagMod can make players turn into a ragdoll on various triggers.

• Going or falling faster than a set limit
  
• Taking a set amount of damage
  
• Rocket jumping
  
• Crashing or jumping out of a vehicle

Ragdolls are able to take damage and die. You can adjust the damage scaling or make ragdolls invincible with the godmode toggle.

By default the k key can be used to open the configuration menu. The same settings can be accessed from the toolmenu.
Most of the settings are explained in their tooltips, try to hover over a setting to see what it does.
Many of the settings can only be changed by the server host.
If you are unable to open the menu with the keybind, you can use the command rm_menu to open the config window and bind the key from there.

The Other tab in the config can be used to reset all of the settings, or to delete all the RagMod ragdolls from the level.

Most playermodels with the default ValveBiped skeleton structure work. Some abilites require some bones to exists. If you have a problem with a playermodel or some other problem, post it in the Troubleshooting discussion thread.
