Two and a half years after initial release and with much improved methods of mod creation, we present E22: RAF 2.0. Still focused on providing quality assets at a smaller file size we believe this update will find you well. A full remake from the ground up, RAF 2.0 is a more focused version of the initial release. Bringing in better textures, more functional camouflage and better config to improve performance and reduce error messages. Further optimisation includes reduction in file size in many places resulting in a smaller mod than the original even with the new inclusions. Despite the 2.0 release's smaller file size you will now find the New Russian Armed Forces equipped with Arid versions of their equipment and Vehicles allowing you to utilise them in far more scenarios than previously.


DESCRIPTION:
After the desolation that followed the destruction of the United States and its brief but close brush with devastation itself, New Russia stands at the edge of collapse. With Separatists east of the Urals, Ultra-nationals in the central country and JointCom dominating Europe to the west, New Russia struggles to survive in this new reality.
A shift in tactics following the mass population loss in the early 2000s the Armed Forces of New Russia now focuses on quality over quantity, with better training, equipment and soldiers it pushes back against the same calamity that has brought ruin to most of the world.
With their old military dismantled as part of a deal with JointCom the majority of New Russia's soviet era vehicles have been replaced by modern ones.


Disclaimer
Almost all of the classnames from the 1.0 release have been changed for the 2.0 release, any loadouts made with 1.0 assets will likely need redone.
Several assets from the 1.0 release have not been included in the 2.0 release, as they were not within the focus of the new version, though may return in a later update.
A legacy version has been uploaded so that any missions utilising the 1.0 release are not broken completely.

@Unsat there isnt any russian MMG, HAT or AA in the game, so its not included.

Really cool choice for camo, I feel like the hex style of camo is so cool. Though there is currently no medium machine gunner, heavy anti tank, or even anti air infantry which makes the groups feel unfinished. Kind of disappointing considering how nice everything else with this mod is.

Why are these guns so heavy?

The guns are almost twice as heavy as the originals.
